My recent exhibition, Tension Between, was a collaborative show with fellow artist Annie Everingham, exploring the spaces where our practices meet and diverge. While our styles are distinct (Annie’s expressive, textural brushwork alongside my structured, geometric forms) the exhibition became a conversation between contrast and connection.
Together, we examined the push and pull that exists within the creative process; between structure and spontaneity, calm and chaos, balance and disruption. Each work played with that fine line where harmony meets tension, where softness meets precision.
The result was a dialogue that was not just between two artists, but between differing ways of seeing and feeling. Tension Between became less about resolving opposites, and more about embracing that vibrant space that exists in between.
